Urban Food Alliance Announces Formal Separation from TradeBlooms

TradeBlooms to Operate Independently as a Commercial Entity Under Synesis; UFA Continues Its Nonprofit Mission Unchanged

[Kendall Park, NJ: 8/31/2026] Urban Food Alliance (UFA / AIUFA) today announced the formal, complete separation of TradeBlooms, a financial-market education and analytics initiative, from UFA's nonprofit operations. Effective [8/31/2026], TradeBlooms operates as an independent commercial entity within the Synesis portfolio and is no longer affiliated with, operated by, or financially connected to Urban Food Alliance.

Why we're sharing this

When TradeBlooms began, it operated alongside UFA's community. As TradeBlooms has grown, we determined that the responsible path forward for both organizations is a clean structural separation. UFA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and it's important to us that our donors and community always have clarity about how their support is used. Separating TradeBlooms removes any ambiguity between charitable giving to UFA and commercial products offered elsewhere.

What this means, plainly:

• UFA's donation programs, membership contributions, and fundraising are not connected to TradeBlooms, its products, or its pricing in any way, effective immediately.

• TradeBlooms sets its own pricing, offers, and membership terms independently. UFA does not receive donor funds through TradeBlooms purchases, and TradeBlooms access is not, and will not be, offered in exchange for a donation to UFA.

• UFA's mission and programs of food security relief, including our weekly community breakfast program and refugee food program, and AI/workforce skills training continue exactly as before, funded through UFA's own donation channels.

• Any past UFA lifetime memberships tied to earlier joint programming remain honored under UFA's nonprofit terms and are unaffected by TradeBlooms' separation.
