Why Catering Connections
Helping NYC Businesses Find Local Caterers
Some of New York City’s most memorable food comes from small, family-owned restaurants: bakeries, grills and neighborhood kitchens that cater meetings and events but are not always easy to find.
Urban Food Alliance, a nonprofit, helps businesses discover these independent providers. Each restaurant prepares and delivers its own food and sets its own menus, pricing and terms. By helping local food businesses reach new customers, we strengthen the communities we serve.
How It Works
Connecting Businesses With Local Food Providers
Urban Food Alliance is a nonprofit, not a caterer. Through our Catering Connections program, we help businesses find independent, family-owned restaurants in New York City and New Jersey.
Participating providers include LA Baker, Ittadi, Khan Baba and Shahi Darbar. Each restaurant prepares, delivers and invoices its own catering. You plan your menu, confirm pricing and pay the provider directly.
Local
Independent providers, direct relationships
Every provider in our network is an independent local business. Your agreement, invoice and payment are with the restaurant you choose, not with UFA.
